What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a microneedling technology that uses tiny, sterilized needles to target the collagen and fatty tissue below your skin’s surface. This improves the appearance of scars, acne, and wrinkles.

Morpheus8 uses burst mode radiofrequency (RF) technology, allowing it to treat three different skin depths in millisecond intervals during a single cycle. This reduces treatment time, minimizes skin injury, and increases treatment uniformity.

The technology is exceptional, offering four fractional tips with different microneedle configurations. This allows your provider to personalize your microneedling treatments.

What happens during a Morpheus8 procedure?

Before beginning the procedure, your Syosset Medi Spa provider discusses your goals, medical history, and how to prepare for the procedure. 

Treatment duration will depend on how big the treatment areas are. Typically, they last around 30 minutes.

During the treatment, expect a prickling sensation and warmth. However, it should be painless. If you have sensitive skin, your provider can apply a numbing cream an hour before your procedure.

Your provider applies the Morpheus8 to the targeted area. For hair loss, they’ll target your hairline or scalp. 

After the procedure, expect your skin to redden and feel tighter.  It typically takes a week or so to heal. Avoid sunlight, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen, and don’t wear makeup for a few days.
